Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a photographer based in Michigan, and after spending the last few years building my work, gaining new experiences and figuring out where I want photography to take me, I finally decided it was time to create a space where I could share a little more of it.
I’ve always let my photographs do most of the talking, but there are a lot of stories, experiences and lessons that don’t necessarily fit into a portfolio. That’s what I want this blog to be, a place where I can look back on some of my favorite experiences, talk about what I’ve learned and share more of what happens behind the camera.
I’m not entirely sure what every post will look like yet, and I think that’s part of the fun. Some might be about sports, others about freelance work or experiences that have shaped me as a photographer. Either way, I’m excited to finally have a place to share them.
