A Glimpse into the 2025 Women's Basketball Season
GVSU Women's Wrestling First Ever Home meet
Photographing the debut of the GVSU Women’s Wrestling team was a historic moment that I’m proud to have been there to capture. As the university's first-ever women’s wrestling program took to the mat, the excitement and energy was amazing, marking a significant milestone for both the team and GVSU Athletics. It was an honor to document such a groundbreaking event, showcasing not only the athletes' skill and determination but a once in a life time moment.
The Snow Game
Photographing sports in the snow for GVSU's playoff game against Harding was another once-in-a-lifetime experience, especially since it was my first time capturing a football game in such cold conditions. At 24 degrees, the chill was intense, but the snow falling gently around the field created a surreal atmosphere. Watching the players give it their all, braving the cold and playing their hearts out, was truly special moment. It is something I’ll never forget, and the combination of their determination and the beauty of the snow made it an incredible game to photograph.
